The Beyond Silence: A Culmination with Deaf Awareness and Basic Filipino Sign Language Workshop aims to serve as the concluding highlight of the annual Deaf Awareness Week. The primary goal is to foster a more inclusive and accessible community by raising public awareness about Deaf culture, addressing misconceptions about deafness, and empowering hearing individuals with fundamental communication skills in Filipino Sign Language (FSL).

Directions: You can search “Zion: Hidden Garden Jacuzzi Hill” on Google Maps for accurate directions. If you’re coming from downtown Davao, head toward Shrine Hills. The road going up is located in front of Matina Sabongan, where you’ll also see a convenience store nearby. From Kanto Shrine Hills, you can ride a tricycle going up to Jacuzzi Hill — most tricycle drivers know Zion: Hidden Garden. The road is a bit uphill, and it may feel like you’re going far, but you’re still within the city. For those bringing private vehicles, parking area is available.
