What:
AdvenTURO is coming over to teach! We (the volunteers) will come over to conduct instruction and impart knowledge to our indigenous brothers and sisters of the Dumagat Tribe (Agta-Bulos) , Sitio Suha, Angat Watershed PD 599, Brgy. San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan
AdvenTOUR is coming over to learn! We (the volunteers) will come over to learn through an educational, a cultural and an environmental immersion with them.
When:
Saturday, June 23, 2018
5:00 AM estimated time of departure (ETD) from Manila
*Meeting Place: McDonald's, Taft Ave (Near De La Salle/In front of Benilde)
*Open 24 hours/Early Breakfast
5:30 AM Heading to Dumagat Tribe (Agta-Bulos), Sitio Suha, Angat Watershed PD 599, Brgy. San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan
9:00 AM estimated time of arrival (ETA) to Norzagaray, Bulacan / Sightseeing (visit the link below)
9:30 AM - 12:00 NN Community Immersion / Lunch
12:00 NN Sightseeing / Visit
*Bitbit River
*Angat Dam View Deck
*(Monte Cristo Caves, if time and good weather condition will allow)
2:00 PM Estimated time of departure (ETD) from Norzagaray
4:00 PM Estimated time of arrival (ETA) to Manila
Fee:
There is a contribution Fee amounting to ₱500 pesos only per person for the round trip rental for van/sevice transportation from Manila to Bulacan to Manila / tour around the area + food allowance of 1 driver and 1 assistant.
For reservation and to secure a slot, first come, first served:
*Please deposit ₱200 pesos (transferrable but non refundable).
*Deadline of reservation is on or before June 22, 2018.
*Please deposit the ₱200 pesos at the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)

*₱500 pesos is the estimate food allowance (Breakfast/AM Snack/Lunch/PM Snack).

What do I need to do in Dumagat tribe/community?
*Storytelling
*Art Lessons
*Gift-giving of School Supplies/Hygiene Kit/First-Aid Kit/Emergency Kit
*Bonding through Fun, Games and Food
Volunteers may bring as donations be given to the Dumagats (Agta-Bulos):
*canned goods
*used but clean clothes
*powdered milk
*grocery supplies
*blankets
What do I need to know and prepare?
*Time Schedules - Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) and Expected Time of Departure (ETD) to and from the site
*Point of departure and areas to visit
*Necessary and miscellaneous expenses
*Proper and appropriate clothing
*Packed food (baon) if applicable, other food and drinking water
*Discipline and behavior protocol during the trip and at the site.
*Available free time and lunch time
*Available transportation
*Ensure that all volunteers are in good health.
*Ensure that all volunteers are informed of the AdvenTURO (AdvenTOUR)'s Rules/Guidelines
*In case of emergency, AdvenTURO (AdvenTOUR)'s representative will contact Emergency Contact Person of the volunteer.
