Volunteer Social Media Account Manager | 3-Month Season

THE MISSION

The Davao Durians RFC is more than a sports club; we are a vehicle for social impact. We conduct rugby caravans in schools, NGOs, and community centers to promote discipline, health, and inclusivity. We need a Social Media Account Manager to be our digital voice—capturing the grit of the pitch and the heart of our community outreach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Platform Management: Oversee the club’s social media accounts.
• Content Strategy: Plan a 3-month "Season Calendar" highlighting trainings, workshops, and NGO caravans.
• Community Engagement: Foster a child- and youth-friendly online environment. Respond to inquiries from parents, schools, and aspiring players & coaches.
• On-Site Coverage: Attend occasional weekend trainings  and weekday community workshops to capture high-energy Reels and photos.

• SDG 3: Good Health & Wellbeing – Promoting active lifestyles for Davao’s youth.
• SDG 4: Quality Education – Teaching life skills through sport.
• SDG 5: Gender Equality – Championing our Girls' and Women’s rugby programs.
• SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities – Bringing rugby to underserved communities.

The Game Plan

• Duration: 3-Month Seasonal Commitment (March – May 2026).
• Location: Davao City Based (Hybrid setup).
• Schedule: Flexible hours (approx. 5–8 hours/week).
• Safeguarding Champion: Strictly follow club protocols regarding the privacy and protection of all participants. 

Requirements & Safety

Because we work closely with children and vulnerable sectors, we prioritize safety:

• Onboarding: You will undergo Mandatory Child and Youth Safeguarding Policy Training before starting.
• Documentation: Candidates who can provide a valid NBI Clearance will be highly prioritized.
• Tools: Proficient in mobile editing (CapCut/Canva) and social media management.
