Help us build champions (On and off the field)
Are you passionate about sports and making a difference in the lives of children and youth? We are looking for Coaches and Facilitators to join our Rugby for Development sessions!
In these sessions, we use the game of rugby to teach essential skills like resilence, respect, and teamwork.
Rugby for Development Mega-Session!
We are bringing together the youth from SOS Children’s Village, Balay Pasilungan, and Balay Kalamboan for a massive afternoon of rugby, life skills, and fun!
This session's theme is Resilience and Speaking Up. We need to empower our participants to bounce back from setbacks and find the confidence to use their voices on and off the field. We need dedicated mentors to help facilitate this experience for our junior participants.

- Date: Sunday, April 19, 2026
- Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Venue: SOS Children’s Village Football Field, Lanang, Davao City
🤝 Roles Needed and Responsibilities:
- Field Coaches: Lead non-contact rugby drills focused on "restarting" after mistakes and communicating clearly under pressure. Execute the prepared session plan.
- Discussion Facilitators: Guide the RCAA circles to help kids bridge the gap between sports and life. Provide age-appropriate practical information.
- Event Crew: Assist with hydration, registration, and coordination for the three centers. The hype squad. Maintain supportive, safe, and active learning environment for the children.
The Davao Rugby Inc will:
- Coordinate with volunteer regarding the schedule, session topics, and program flow.
- Provide necessary technical and practical support
- Ensure a safe, organized, and child-friendly environment for all participants and volunteers.
- Assist in the facilitation and overall management of the activity.
- Provide meals/snacks (if applicable) during the activity.
- Award certificates of appreciation to volunteer resource speakers in recognition of their valuable contribution.
