Volunteer Event
SOS Children’s Village Davao is currently moving and reorganizing some of our building spaces, and we are inviting kind-hearted volunteers to join us for a One-Day Moving and Clean-Up Activity.
Volunteers will help us transfer items such as books, bookshelves, tables, chairs, and other materials as we move them to a new space. Your support will help us make the transition smoother and ensure that everything is safely organized for the children and staff.
This is a simple but meaningful way to support the children under our care. With your helping hands, we can make this moving day faster, lighter, and more joyful. We would truly appreciate anyone who is willing to share their time and energy with us.
Volunteer Tasks:
• Assist in moving books, bookshelves, tables, chairs, and other items
• Help transfer materials to the new space
• Support basic organizing and clean-up
What to Bring:
• Packed lunch / food
• Drinking water
• Towel
• Extra shirt or clothes
• Comfortable clothes and closed shoes
• Personal hygiene items (alcohol, wipes, etc.)
• Food for sharing (optional but appreciated)
Reminders:
• Please arrive on time at 8:00 AM for a short orientation.
• Wear comfortable clothes suitable for lifting and moving items.
• Some tasks may involve light to moderate physical activity.
• Please be respectful of the children, staff, and village environment.
• Kindly confirm your attendance in advance.
