ARAL PINOY Aklat-Aralan – Youth Teaching Kids
We are grateful to EDUC-HUB-O at Sta. Lucia SK Hall for providing a dedicated corner for our Aklat-Aralan! Be part of our mission to empower youth volunteers to teach kids and build a culture of learning, service, and leadership.
History:
Youth Teaching Kids at Aral Pinoy Aklat-Aralan is about more than tutoring—it nurtures character, strengthens friendships, and trains young leaders. With the support of Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Sta. Lucia and the exclusive EDUC-HUB-O, young Lucians have free access to a safe space to learn, teach, and serve. This initiative is part of a broader effort to extend educational support beyond the community. (http://www.aralpinoy.org/)
What:
YTK (Youth Teaching Kids) volunteers help children with reading, homework, and simple lessons in subjects like English, Math, and Science. Volunteers guide kids step by step, offer encouragement, and become positive role models in a safe, supportive learning environment. They will assist SK Chairperson Xyrone Pelayo (09705659090). The session will be held every Saturday from 9:00 AM–12:00 NN at the SK Hall Ground Floor.
When:
- SPECIAL SESSION for this Saturday from 9:00 AM–12:00 NN
- Location: EDUC-HUB-O, SK Hall Ground Floor, Barangay Sta. Lucia, Novaliches, Quezon City
We will have a Special Session, instead of our usual YTK (Youth Teaching Kids) activity, where volunteers help children with reading, homework, and simple lessons. This session will focus on Inventory Procedures for the ARAL PINOY Aklat-Aralan – NBDB Book Nook Project. Thank you, and we hope for your active participation in supporting this important community initiative!
